This young warrior was loved deeply by this community and we would like to honor her memory with a very special tribute to her caring spirit, steadfast strength, bravery and courage.

Harper’s journey has impacted thousands of people around the country. Her goal was always to continue to spread encouragement, joy and faith to others but, more importantly, smiles! We cannot think of a better way to honor her than to provide a beautiful metal sculpture of outspread wings in Horizon Park (just a short walk from her family’s home)!

This will give her friends, family and even strangers a place to sit, enjoy a sunset and feel closer to Harper. We imagine people coming from all over to take advantage of this incredible photo opportunity standing in front of outstretched wings with beautiful Belleville Lake in the background.

We will add a plaque with an inspiring tribute to Harper and a QR code that will take people to the Harper Strong Foundation’s non-profit website where people that didn’t know her can read her story, and even donate to her charity if they are moved to do so.

We have commissioned local blacksmith Robert Georgic to create the piece. It is now almost complete, and we are so excited for the pending unveiling in the City of Belleville at Horizon Park!
